Bengaluru, India will host the Convergence 2023, an extravagant esports event from 14th to 17th December 2023. It will be jointly hosted by RIOT Games and The Esports Club. This fascinating event will be RIOT’s first-ever international tournament in India and will be held at Manpho Convention Centre, Bengaluru.

Convergence 2023: All Participating Teams, Format, and Prize Pool

Teams

A total of six teams will compete in this tournament. The participating teams include the following:

• Global Esports from India
• Gen.G Esports from South Korea
• Team Vitality from Europe
• Furia Esports from Brazil
• FUT Esports from Turkey
• True Rippers from India

Format

In the group stage, two single rounds will be played in round robin format. Each group will have three teams and all teams will play once  against each other. All matches will be played in the best-of-three formats. The winning team from each group will move to the Grand Final. The Grand final will be played in the best-of-five format.

All You Need To Know About Prize Pool

Convergence 2023 boasts a massive prize pool of $50,000 USD. Following is the prize pool distribution of the tournament:

• First place holder will receive $25,000
• Second place holder will receive $15,000
• 3rd-4th place holders will receive $5,000 each
