    HomeStory Cup XXIV is an upcoming StarCraft II tournament organized by TaKeTV. It is the 24th edition, which is taking place in Krefeld, Germany. The tournament is sponsored by Blizzard, AGON by AOC, MAXNOMIC, Panasonic, XMG and Lan Linh. 

    The tournament features a total of 24 players, divided into four groups with 6 players in each group. They will compete against each other following a round-robin format with all matches of best-of-3 series. The tournament is divided into two stages: Group Stage and Playoffs. The matches will kick off from 1st December onwards. 

    Map Pool and tournament schedule 

    A total of 9 maps are added to the map pool which are Alcyone, Equilibrium, Goldenaura, Hard Lead, Hecate, Oceanborn, Radhuset Station, Site Delta, and Solaris. There are three types of categories of players: Protoss, Terran and Zerg.

    A total of 5 rounds will be played across all the groups and only two players from each group will be able to qualify for the playoffs. If a match results in a tie, then it will follow a Tiebreaker.

    • Total number of map victories
    • Match victories accrued by tied participants ('Mini-League')
    • The difference in map between tied participants ('Mini-League')
    • Number of map victories shared by tied competitors ('Mini-League')
    • Matches that break ties

    The Playoffs will feature 8 players who will compete in a single-elimination bracket with all matches of best-of-5 series. Notably, the Grand Final will feature a Best-of-7 series game.
