Upthrust Esports (UE), one of the leading tournament organizers from India
has announced a New State Mobile tournament called Upthrust Esports New
State Mobile Challengers Showdown, featuring a total prize pool of INR
3,00,000 ($3,767 USD).
In India, the mobile esports scene is gradually moving away from BGMI
(Battlegrounds Mobile India) and Free Fire in favour of a different battle
royale game. New State Mobile, a futuristic-themed video game from
Krafton, has accelerated recently and is now swiftly emerging as one of the
scene's top rivals. With its UE New State Mobile Challengers Showdown
competition, Upthrust Esports is one of the first regional event planners to
make use of this. Only Loco is hosting a live stream of the competition.
Format and stages
INITIAL STAGE
Round 1(7th – 8th August)
The 1st round of the initial stage comprised 25 groups, each group played 2
matches. Out of these 25 groups, only 10 groups prove themselves and
qualify for the next round of the underdog phase.
Round 2 (9th – 10th August)
The 2nd round consisted of 30 matches played by the teams who qualified in
round 1. There were 150 teams divided into groups of 10. Each group had the
opportunity to play 3 matches. In this round, only 30 teams emerged
victorious, ready to play in the third round.
Round 3 (11th – 12th August)
In the 3rd round with 2 groups of 15 teams, I.e. 30 teams in total played 4
matches each. The top 4 teams from each group I.e. 8 teams, who triumph in
the 3rd round moved up to the quarter-finals of the UE New State Mobile
Challengers Showdown
THE QUARTER FINALS (13th – 16th August)
The quarter-finals of the UE New State Mobile Challengers Showdown took
place from 13th August to 16th August between 24 teams. These teams
comprised the 8 qualified teams from round 3 of the initial stage and 16
invited teams.
The 24 teams were divided into 3 groups(i.e., Group A, Band C). The maps of
Erangel and Troi were used in these matches. In the course of these 4 days, a
total of 24 matches took place. These matches ultimately decided the fate of
the 8 teams to qualify for the next stage I.i. the semi-finals.
The teams that emerged victorious in this stage were:

4. Team iNSANE Esports
5. Team Synchronize
6. Team Oxygen
7. Team Unknown
8. Post Nut Clarity
The semifinal stage (18th – 21st August)
From August 18 to August 21, 24 teams from all over the nation competed in
the semifinal round of this competition after making it through the
quarterfinal round. With some of the best teams and organizations actively
competing in it, this is one of the first full-fledged New State Mobile
competitions taking place in the nation.
The teams fought 24 matches in 4 days on the maps of Erangel and Troi and
only 16 teams managed to rise triumphant and enter the grand finale.
The teams that 16 qualified for the Grand finale are:

The Grand finale stage (22th – 24st August)
The Grand Finale began today (22nd August) at 1:30 pm IST with the 16
triumphant teams and will continue till the 24th of August. This stage will
have 6 matches played on the maps of Erangel and Troi alternatively.

Revenant esports are undoubtedly ruling the event with 169 rank points, and
134 finishes, I.e. making 303 points in total. Their performance has been
commendable and makes others’ points pretty much negligible. It is doubtful
for anyone to surpass their talent in the upcoming matches. All we need to be
concerned about at this point is if anyone will outplay Revenant esports or if
will they rule the New State Mobile Challengers Showdown till the
‘showdown’.
Where to watch?
On Loco, the UE New State Mobile Challengers Showdown will only be
broadcasted in Hindi. You can also watch the live stream on the
UPTHRUST ESPORTS youtube channel.
To reach a wider audience, perhaps future New State Mobile tournaments
will have a multilingual broadcast.
Prize pool
The top five teams in the UE New State Mobile Challengers Showdown will
each receive INR 3,000, and additional prizes will be awarded for titles like
MVP, Most Kills (Squad), and Most WWCD (Squad).
