The narrative in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II might continue after the campaign ends
because a recent leak indicates it might get longer. Although multiplayer and zombies are
undoubtedly the main attractions of Call of Duty, the narrative is a rather costly and lucrative
addition that the producers make every year. They have summer blockbuster-type set pieces,
recognisable characters, and compelling plots. They're like a large, interactive movie. The No
Russian mission from the first Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 was a pivotal cultural moment
because of the intense debate it generated and the amount of airtime it received on
mainstream television. Having said that, the majority of players finish it in a single weekend
before moving on to the rest of the game, so it only takes up a small portion of their overall
    playing time.

However, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II might continue the narrative. The Ghost of Hope, a
Call of Duty insider, claims that Intel will return in the DMZ mode of Call of Duty: Modern
Warfare II. The new mode, which is more analogous to Escape from Tarkov, will take the place
of the previous game's Spec Ops mode.

Infinity Ward has not yet provided any meaningful information on the mode, although if it is
extraction-based, users might be able to engage in missions and objectives. A tweet from Call of
Duty insider Ralphs Valve was also brought up by Ghost of Hope, who noted that the Intel is
probably one of the ways the game's story would continue in this new mode. As previously
announced by Ralphs Valve, the campaign will continue with a "complex storyline" that has
    recurring characters and tasks.

This could be abandoned before release because things in the game production industry are
always changing. Next month at the Call of Duty Next event, which is anticipated to give a more
in-depth look at multiplayer, present Warzone 2, and more, we'll probably learn more about this
mode. Additionally, pre-ordering the game will give players access to the campaign a week early
    on October 20, 2022.
