After the lacklustre performance by 7SEA Esports in the PMWI 2022
Afterparty Showdown tournament, the professional Indian squad
somehow managed to secure the 9th rank in the overall standings. Apart
from the terrible loss of the Indian team, BGMI star player Scout
emerged as the fan-favourite player of the tournament with a reward of
$10,000 cash prize. ScoutOP has won the title with a huge margin of a
    total of 1,76,591 likes.

On August 20 th , PUBG Mobile Esports made a post on Instagram thereby
asking fans to vote their likes in favour of their favourite player's
comments on the post. With huge fanbase support in India, Scout's
comment received the greatest number of likes on Instagram.
Although 7SEA Esports made effort to progress through the matches,
they could not survive in any of the matches for a long time. Their back-
to-back consistent poor performances in around 18 matches showcased
    their lack of international exposure.

All over the three days, the team’s rank points have been consistently
low. The team on the first day itself struggled to last till the final circle
except for the match that was held in Vikendi. Thus, the first day ended
with the team settling for the 12th rank with a total of 10 points, ranking
at the last of the leaderboard.

The 2nd day showcased 7SEA Esports in the same rank at 12 with a
total of 36 points with two podium finishes and 12 frags.

The 3rd day showcased slight progress in the game for the Indian team
ranked at 9th position with a total of 79 points.

The last two matches were game-changing for the team as they were
able to secure a Winner Winner Chicken Dinner and a second-place
finish respectively. Nigma Galaxy and Alpha7 Esports’s combat against
each other helped 7SEA Esports to claim a chicken dinner for
    themselves along with 8 eliminations.

Although 7SEA Esports showcased a tough fight, in the end, the victory
had slipped away from the team long back due to their previous low
scores. 7SEA Esports has won a cash prize of a total of US$71K which
accounts for US$20K for securing the ninth spot and US$51K under
    match rewards.

As we say goodbye to The PMWI 2022 Afterparty Showdown, Vampire
Esports has been crowned the champion of the tournament with
massive rank points of 180, a total earning of $167,000.
