The top teams from across the world will compete in the ESL Pro League Season 16 CSGO
event, hoping to win the juicy $175,000 first-place prize. The ESL Pro League Season 16 is a
two-month competition that will pit the top teams against one another in a number of exciting
games.

WHICH TEAMS COMPETE IN THE 16TH SEASON OF THE ESL PRO LEAGUE?

Twenty-four of the top CSGO teams in the world will compete over the coming months in
preparation for the BLAST Premier World Final 2022 competition later this year. There are
numerous methods in which a team could have qualified for this competition. Here are the
groups competing in the 16th season of the ESL Pro League in 2022.

WHAT IS THE ESL PRO LEAGUE SEASON 16 FORMAT?

24 teams will compete against one another in the group rounds and playoffs of the 16th season
of the ESL Pro League. The 24 clubs will be split up into four groups of six for the playoffs.
Every team will play every other team once in each round-robin group. There will be three
games in each series. The winning team will be automatically qualified for the quarterfinals.
The second and third-placed teams advance to the round of twelve.

Teams will be placed into a single-elimination bracket for the playoffs, with all games other
than the championship game being best-of-three. Best-of-five will be used for the
championship game.

HOW IS THE 16TH SEASON OF THE ESL PRO LEAGUE PRIZE POOL DISTRIBUTED?

A portion of the $835,000 prize fund will be split among the 24 teams. The money is divided up
among the teams as shown here.

•  2nd: $70,000
•  3rd-4th: $35,000
•  5th-8th: $17,500
•  9th-12th: $12,000
•  13th-16th: $9000
•  17th-20th: $7500
•  21st-24th: $6000
