An unannounced video game based on Avatar: The Last Airbender seems to be coming to
PlayStation 4. An unreleased PS4 game titled Avatar: The Last Airbender: Quest for Balance,
developed by licenced game studio GameMill was recently discovered by Reddit user
u/Vartux on Amazon Japan. Quest for Balance's shop listing provides little information
about what it will be, although it does give a projected release date of November 8, 2022. It's
unclear whether that release date for Quest for Balance is actual or just a placeholder
because the game hasn't been publicly announced.

Quest for Balance is being created by GameMill Entertainment, a studio well-known for its
licenced games, according to the store page. Working on both the Nickelodeon Kart Racers
series and the more current fighting game, Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl, GameMill has a long-
standing partnership with Nickelodeon. Characters from The Legend of Korra and Avatar:
The Last Airbender appear in both of those titles, which are big Nickelodeon crossovers.
There are other Avatar: The Last Airbender games coming out besides Quest for Balance.
Avatar: Generations, a free-to-play mobile role-playing game, will premiere in a few regions
on Android and iOS later in August, according to a recent announcement from Square Enix
London. Quest for Balance appears to be coming to at least one current system, however, it's
unclear whether it will also be available on non-PlayStation platforms. Avatar: Generations
will only be available on mobile devices.

The Avatar: The Last Airbender series is expanding outside of the world of video games.
Aang and his pals will be the subject of an animated film, and it is anticipated that further
movies featuring other characters from the universe will follow. The Dawn of Yangchen, the
third book in the Chronicles of the Avatar series by author F.C. Yee, was just released. It is
the first tale in the universe to largely centre on Avatar Yangchen. Soon, a live-action version
of the original animated series will be available on Netflix, starring Amber Midthunder from
Prey as Princess Yue.

November 8, 2022, is the anticipated release date for Avatar: The Last Airbender: Quest for
Balance, though it has not yet been confirmed. The game's PlayStation 4 version is the only
one that is currently included in the store listing. For official confirmation from GameMill,
Nickelodeon, or Paramount about a release date and platforms, interested audiences should
wait.
