Halo Infinite is soon going to roll out its new updates on August 9 with
major customizable modifications in the game’s multiplayer and the
addition of fan-favorite doubles playlists to the game.

Halo Infinite developers 343 announced the release of the latest update
last week via Halo Waypoint, giving fans an overview of the changes being
planned to be introduced in The August Drop Pod update. According to
343, this particular update is “set to expand each player’s customization
options, that includes QoL improvements, and will lay the groundwork for
    even more community-requested features.”

The new August Drop Pod update solves the biggest issue in Halo Infinite’s
multiplayer - the lack of customization options and freedom that has long
received criticism ever since the launch of the game. 343 has been slowly
fixing the problems with each new update that has come out. The new
update caters to the players with more freedom when it comes to visors.
Players will soon be able to equip any visor they’ve unlocked to any helmet
of their choice, despite the armor core that is being used. Unlike before, this
update allows specific Mark VII helmet attachments to be particularly
used with any kind of Mark VII helmet.

There is a great deal of excitement surrounding Halo Infinite’s addition of
numerous new ranked playlists to its multiplayer throughout the entire
month of August. The Ranked Doubles are expected to roll out two weeks
after this update goes live. A social Team Doubles playlist will also be
dropped for those that are interested in casual gameplay. A complete CSR
reset will also be introduced in the game.

There will be a change in the look of the pause menu in order to quickly
help players check the active challenges available during the game. The
changes in the designs were demanded from the fans and the developers
are quite excited about it, as they have mentioned that they are indeed “very
    happy to get implemented.”

As of now, the challenges won’t show players how far they are from their
target in terms of numbers remaining or the total required to complete the
challenge. However, 343 has promised they will be adding in these extra
    details later.
