The first season was a little delayed but will consist of added ranked battle, Arcaded mode, new
cosmetics and new characters. 

Rick and Morty from the show of the same name have got confirmation and according to a picture
released by Warner Bros, LeBron James will get a costume on the basis of Robin from Batman.
Earlier it was announced by Warner Bros that Season 1 will start on August 9 and on the same day
Morty would arrive as the 18th playable character of the game.

It was also declared that his animated partner named Rick would join the roster at a certain time
during Season 1.

But Warner still has to give confirmation regarding the delay as to when the new season of content
would arrive.

This delay won't be fruitful as it is not going to change the order in which these characters are
released but it only keeps the fans waiting. Not to mention MultiVersus players have already finished
the Preseason Battle and now they are waiting for Season 1 to begin.

 MultiVersus game director Tony Huynh confirmed last week that Season 1 Battle Pass will have 50
tiers and will cost in the region of 10 dollars/8 pounds.

The current Preseason Battle Pass consists of 15 tiers of character skins, profile icons, XP, and other
cosmetics.

Just like other Battle Passes, it includes a free option with earnable rewards available to all players
and a paid premium version allowing access to different exclusive cosmetics. Although Warner Bros
Games has suggested that there will also be other means to unlock them in future.
