Jervalin, a Twitch speedrunner and the champion of MoistCr1TiKal's $20K LASO
challenge, gained popularity after pulling off the nearly impossible feat. Along
with the viewer’s jaw-dropping reaction to the victory, the developers of HALO
too expressed their admiration and joy.

Famous streamer MoistCr1TiKal set up a sizable bounty to witness the creation
of a legendary gaming history that involves not dying and pushing through Halo 2
    LASO (Legendary, All Skulls On).

It ended up with Jervalin claiming victory under the title, approximately taking two
weeks to ultimately put together the ideal run, a feat that had eluded Halo
speedrunners for nearly two decades. The main challenge in the game's long
history was finally overtaken by the Halo speedrunner after hundreds of hours of
trial and error, glitch jump research, and other activities.

Even the Halo crew at 343 Industries noticed the accomplishment and
congratulated Jervalin for conquering a venerable gaming obstacle - “There are
those who said this day would never come, what are they to say now?” they
commented. “Congratulations to Jervalin on his legendary feat!”

The interaction between the developers and the speedrunner caught a lot of
attention, to which the latter reciprocated the praise, by stating: “Thank you to
everyone at Halo and all of those who supported and believed. This is incredible.”
After Jervalin finished the LASO campaign, he rapidly became an overnight
gaming star. Even MoistCr1TiKal expressed shock at the victorious moment,
articulating he had “never been so happy to lose 20 grand.”

Halo 2 holds a particular place in the hearts of fans as one of the most cherished
video games ever. Even though it had been a while since they had played Master
Chief's second adventure, onlookers were aware of how challenging the run
    could be.

Players, streamers, and even the Halo team acknowledged Jervalin's massive
victory, thus making it a memorable occasion.
