it with Starship Captains, a Star Trek-inspired board game. The new game, designed by Peter
B. Hoffgaard, puts players in command of their very first-star cruiser, leading their crew on
dangerous missions across the galaxy. Along the way, you'll promote and train your crew of
cadets, ensigns, androids, and officers, each with unique roles and abilities, though you'll
also need to upgrade your ship's engine and improve your reputation with various factions.

Starship Captains is a game for 2 to 4 players that lasts about 25 minutes depending on the
number of players. It will cost $59.95, and as you can see from the artwork below, the visuals
perfectly capture the Trek vibes. The game will debut at Essen Spiel later this year and will be
