Overwatch 2 has packed on a good retreat for the fans to the world of Overwatch with a
competitive multiplayer version. Blizzard has already announced a cross-play between the
first and second season of the game. The cross-play seemingly indicates that some substantial
changes might occur in the Overwatch Universe. The PvP mode of Overwatch 2 is pretty
familiar, but the new PvE mode of Overwatch 2 presents a broader range of deviations than
what the Overwatch players are used to playing. No matter how familiar the PvP of
Overwatch may seem, it brings more to the game in terms of newly added heroes, maps, and
    game modes.

Substantial changes to look forward to in Overwatch 2

In Overwatch 2, the significant change is the shift of the matches from 6v6 to 5v5. Though
this might seem like a huge change, the consistent players of Overwatch can quickly get used
to the new set-up of the Overwatch 2 as the game has remained similar in terms of the
    characters, battle tactics, etc.

Sojourn, the new Damage character introduced in Overwatch 2, has brought a fresh breath of
air to the game. She is the first Black single female hero presented to the Overwatch series as
a playable character. She has explosive punches and a straightforward kit and packs a fun
experience for the players. Sojourn features a short-range slide, and she can slide in any
direction. She also joins the ranks of the other famous characters like Widowmaker, who can
perform the high-ceiling, mid-air skill shots, which is unique to the other characters. Sojourn
comes with standard primary attacks and offers exciting combat techniques with fun weapons
    for the players.

Apart from introducing Sojourn in the alpha as the only new hero, Overwatch 2 has also
introduced a new game mode, Sentry, which allows the players to freely move around for a
limited time before reverting to the standard mode Recon. It, too, has introduced new maps
and a ping system to the game.

Overall, Overwatch 2 is on an upbeat track and will eventually attract admiration amongst the
    Overwatch fans with time.
