HORIZON FORBIDDEN WEST IMPROVES LOOTING TO A GOOD AMOUNT IN ITS LATEST 1.09 PATCH

Last month, Horizon Forbidden West received patch 1.09. The primary mission, machinery, CPNs, and
other issues relating to the players' issues were all part of this. The patch addressed issues such as not
being able to find where the new equipment was intended to be, missing prompts, stocking, and even an
undiscovered flaw. Instead, the developers added a really important quality-of-life function that disables
    the looting animation.

Last week's Horizon Forbidden West update featured 100% completion repairs and performance
increases, which is understandable. However, this means that the best aspect of patch 1.09 isn't getting
the attention it deserves. In fact, the patch notes didn't even mention the change! There's now a toggle in
the game's options that disables Aloy's animation when picking up healing supplies, plants, and wood in
    the open world.

While journeying through the Forbidden West, you may observe Aloy slowing down and attempting to
gather the resources you need to buy. The animation isn't as slow and methodical as Arthur Morgan's in
Red Dead Redemption 2, but it's also excessively hazy and unfocused. When Aloy extends her hand in
the direction of the resources, they vanish from the screen.

If you skip the animation, the process of collecting these objects is greatly accelerated, allowing you to
acquire more in a much shorter amount of time. The Twitter video below explains what happens, but in
essence, you press the Triangle button, and the resource is placed in your inventory immediately. Simply
run by them while repeatedly pressing the button to collect them all. If you don't skip the animation, Aloy
will crouch down for a short second and you'll have to pick up each healing item, plant, and piece of
wood individually. That's wonderful for immersion, but when you've been playing for 20 hours, you just
want to pick them up as soon as possible.

While a few details aren't addressed, a glance at the game's General options will reveal a toggle for
Pickup Animation, as revealed by PushSquare. Switching Off allows you to pick up items while moving
without causing any animation or changes in momentum. You should be able to use this option due to
the laziness of the real animation. The patch also highlighted the visual deterioration that affected many
gamers when the game was originally launched. The gamers were unsure what caused the situation, but
antialiasing was turned off and it seemed to help. The issue was especially important in regions with a lot
    of trees.

Nonetheless, the developers are still working on a solution to a problem. The above-mentioned
the shimmering issue will be examined more during the Blood Choke quest. The ballista isn't fired by Atekka
for no purpose. There are various elements to this, however, because the object was retrieved, it only
contains a few sections of the collection.
