The Night School Studio has made a major announcement and they have to say that a sequel for the 2016
release Oxenfree is almost ready. The statement goes on to say that it will be coming to PS4, PS soon.
The revelation had come way back in April and that was during the Nintendo's indie showcase.
The release should happen in a quick time and meanwhile, our team contacted the developer for more
details. The developer team was ready to share some part of the story with us. The central character here
is Riley Poverly and he was born raised in Camena. His dad was a veteran and unfortunately, Riley could
not always enjoy the love affection of a normal mother. It is because his mom was always absent. She had
relocated from Camena at the first scope and has been bouncing between cities for jobs. She is
desperately searching for some direction in her life. However, there has been some change and she is now
back in her hometown. She is now doing an entry-level job in the capacity of an environmental
researcher.
The story now focuses on certain unnatural developments in Camena, which have been occurring over the
last few months. There have been some unnatural electromagnetic waves happening in town and that has
perhaps been responsible for the disruptions of electrical or even radio equipment in town. This has
impacted the daily lives of the citizens of this town. They are facing plenty of problems and that is
inclusive of TVs randomly turning on and off. There is more mayhem taking place and stations are unable
to transmit signals and even planes are losing their radar. These are just the developments, which hamper
normal life and the lead character has a role to play here. Riley is assigned a job and that is to explore
various areas and plant radio transmitters. He has to then report back the data, which has been collected. 
This is surely an exciting build-up and there is another interesting aspect to note here.  There are plenty of
the same tools here, which were used in the original Oxenfree game. It should be a game, which revolves
around a conversation system, radio, which can tune supernatural signals. The game should release next
year and as there is more progress, we will bring it to your notice. It will be launching on PC, PlayStation
4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch next year in 2022.
